The HANYS Breast Cancer Demonstration Project^TM, in collaboration with the American Cancer Society (ACS), has translated three ACS consumer resources into multiple languages.

These documents can help teach non-English speaking women the importance of the early detection of breast cancer and breast cancer treatment options.

ABCs of Breast Health: A Personal Plan of Action
This brochure discusses the importance of having regular mammograms, clinical breast exams, and breast self-exams and gives insight into the benefits of early detection.

The American Cancer Society Guidelines for the Early Detection of Breast Cancer This shower card outlines the three-step program of having regular mammograms, clinical breast exams, and breast self-exams. The Breast Cancer Treatment Guidelines for Patients, Version IV/September 2002 Published by the American Cancer Society and the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, this 68-page booklet is designed to help patients understanding cancer treatment.
