About the Resource List
This list of breast cancer education resources and outreach tools was developed by HANYS Breast Cancer Demonstration Project to provide health care facilities with an organized review of breast cancer educational products and disease management tools that span the continuum of care. It is designed to assist health care providers in their effort to identify materials most appropriate for their patient populations taking into consideration factors including age, culture, literacy level, primary language, and race. The resource list is also meant to help women and their families learn more about breast cancer and options and support that are available for them.
HANYS hopes that health care facilities will find this resource useful in supporting their efforts to enhance breast cancer services. We will continue to add resources to this list and invite your questions and comments.
