The Software Support Specialist is responsible for the technical and administrative aspects of all installation, training, and support of the UDS and the Quantim products. These products are used in the Health Information Management departments of hospitals within NYS to help with coding, compliance and submission of required SPARCS data.
Related Bachelor’s degree preferred. Prior client support experience with competencies in troubleshooting data processes and product software support required. Excellent customer service and relationship building skills with an ability to work independently, yet function within a team oriented atmosphere required. Experience in healthcare or health information management and/or proficiency in clinical terminology preferred. Periodic travel within NYS with some overnight travel required.

Programmer Analyst

Must have an understanding and knowledge of public policy and its impact on health care providers. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills. Routine travel, approximately two days per month, required.
