Pinnacle Awards for Quality and Patient Safety 2015 Applicant Webconference

HANYS will host this applicant webconference to discuss the Pinnacle Award for Quality and Patient Safety call for nominations, submission process, and tips for successful applications. The webconference will be recorded and available for later viewing. All HANYS' members are encouraged to consider submitting an application for the award, highlighting their achievements in quality and patient safety. Submissions will be evaluated on the basis of:
· potential for harm reduction;
· execution techniques;
· sustainability;
· potential for replication;
· innovation and creativity; and
· data/results.
A panel of experts will review the submissions and recommend the winners, which are honored at the HANYS’ Annual Membership Conference. All submissions will be published in a compendium to help raise awareness about the accomplishments of HANYS’ members in the areas of quality and patient safety. Additional information will be published on the HANYS website.
The submission deadline for the 2015 Pinnacle Awards is March 9, 2015.
