Lessons in Implementing High Reliability

January 20, 2015

10 - 11 a.m.

HANYS’ Statewide Steering Committee on Quality Initiatives is spearheading statewide efforts to assist New York hospitals in implementing high-reliability concepts. Applying these concepts can help healthcare organizations improve patient safety and stay competitive by creating a culture and designing processes that reliably and effectively deliver high-quality, safe, and efficient healthcare.

The January 20 webinar builds on the momentum of HANYS’ highly successful October 29 High Reliability Conference.

In the coming year, HANYS will continue its high-reliability educational series with webinars and other programming, featuring:

· case studies from hospitals on the journey toward high reliability;

· strategic approaches for implementation; and

· renowned thought leaders.

In addition, in response to member interest and requests, the HANYS Statewide Steering Committee on Quality Initiatives is actively preparing a spring conference for executive leadership on implementing strategies for high reliability.
