Office Hours with the Surviving Sepsis Campaign: Strategies for Successfully Managing Sepsis Patient Transfers

February 3, 2015

This Webinar is for HANYS' Members Only.

10 - 11 a.m.

New York State hospitals must submit data for patients with severe sepsis and septic shock for discharges occurring October 1 through December 31, 2014, by Saturday, February 28 (please note the corrected date). Hospitals should use Data Dictionary v1.4 and Template File v1.4.

To assist hospitals with their ongoing efforts to improve sepsis care and patient outcomes, HANYS is continuing our longstanding collaboration with the Surviving Sepsis Campaign to offer a series of education programs in 2015. The first program will be a special Office Hours program on Tuesday, February 3.

Additional Resources Available

HANYS’ Statewide Sepsis Learning Network has additional resources including ongoing education programs and a data collection worksheet (updated December 31) that will convert the sepsis data spreadsheet to the appropriate submission format. HANYS has also established a mailbox for requests for technical assistance related to data collection and encourages members to continue submitting questions. HANYS is planning additional tools and resources to assist members.
