Applying High Reliability to Clinical Priorities: Hospital Sepsis Care and High Reliability

February 24, 2015

This Webinar is for HANYS' Members Only.

10:30 – 11:30 a.m.

HANYS’ Statewide Steering Committee on Quality Initiatives is spearheading the association’s statewide efforts to assist New York hospitals in implementing concepts associated with high reliability. Applying the tools of high reliability can help health care organizations improve patient safety and stay competitive by creating a culture and designing processes that reliably and effectively deliver high quality, safe, and efficient healthcare.

Building upon the momentum of HANYS’ October 29 High Reliability Conference and the January 20 high reliability webinar, HANYS has planned this special members-only webinar. This session, featuring a case study from Martin E. Doerfler, M.D., Senior Vice President, Clinical Strategy and Development, and Associate Chief Medical Officer, North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System, is the second in a series of high reliability programs planned for 2015.

HANYS Quality Institute will also feature additional webinars and other programs in its 2015 high-reliability educational series to help advance members' efforts. Information about past and upcoming events is available on our website.
