Value-Based Payment Roundtable

HANYS will host this webinar with KPMG, the firm helping the Department of Health (DOH) to design New York’s DSRIP Value-Based Payment (VBP) Roadmap.

The roundtable will feature Marc Berg, M.D., Ph.D., and Meghan Gleason, the leaders of the KPMG team supporting DOH in creating the Roadmap. They will address key elements of the Roadmap, factors and implementation strategies providers should be considering as they gear up for VBP, the work planned for 2015 to fill in key details that remain open in the state’s VBP plans, and answer questions.

This roundtable is a follow-up to HANYS’ April 15 webinar that covered Roadmap basics and important changes to the Roadmap achieved as a result of HANYS’ advocacy. Our advocacy was based on feedback from members, including member committees and the Future of Healthcare Policy Advisory Group. We strongly encourage members to view the April 15 webinar to gain a basic understanding of the VBP Roadmap before the May 8 roundtable webinar. A slide presentation used during the April 15 webinar and the current version of the State’s VBP Roadmap are also available online.
