Don’t Sell Your Hospital Short: How to Improve the Accuracy of Your Schedule H

Your hospital is working hard to meet the health needs of your community. And, there is a great deal at stake in reporting that community benefit to the IRS.
During this webinar, Keith Hearle, M.B.A., founder and President of Verité Healthcare Consulting, will discuss the importance and “how-to” of accurately reporting your organization’s community benefit. As he walks us through the Schedule H form, Mr. Hearle will highlight where hospitals may be underreporting and the areas they’re struggling with. He will also address the requirements for the 2016 CHNA, and the potential implications of a New Jersey hospital’s loss of its tax exemption.
In addition, HANYS is currently working on its review of 2013 Schedule H’s submitted by tax-exempt hospitals in New York State and will provide each hospital with its facility-specific report, and a statewide and peer group comparison before this webinar.
