Early Recognition and Treatment of Sepsis in the Skilled Nursing Facility

December 9, 2015

Registration is open to all New York nursing facilities.

2 - 3:30 p.m.

This program will include early detection and identification of the different stages of sepsis, the roles, responsibilities, and skill sets of a dynamic long-term care sepsis team, and the design of an effective sepsis quality improvement program.

This webinar is presented in conjunction with the DOH Education, Training, and Technical Assistance (ETTA) grant for Medical Direction and Attending Physician Guidelines. It is free to all nursing homes in New York State and funded by ETTA.

Who should attend
The intended audience is all members of the interdisciplinary care team, including nurses, physicians, pharmacists, infection preventionists, direct caregivers, and quality assurance professionals.
