Pinnacle Award Applicant Conference

This event is open to HANYS MEMBERS ONLY.

HANYS has issued the Call for Nominations for the 2016 Pinnacle Award in Quality and Patient Safety, which recognizes organizations that are playing a leading role in promoting improvements in healthcare delivery in New York State.

HANYS will host an applicant webconference on February 11 at 10 a.m. to discuss the call for nominations, submission process, and tips for successful applications. The webconference will be recorded and available for later viewing. The Pinnacle Award application deadline is March 11, 2016.

All HANYS' members are encouraged to consider submitting an application for the HANYS Pinnacle Award for Quality and Patient Safety, highlighting their achievements in quality and patient safety. Submissions will be evaluated on the basis of:

  • program impact;
  • execution techniques;
  • sustainability;
  • potential for replication;
  • innovation and creativity; and
  • data/results.

Previous winners and nominations are available online.
