HANYS' May 2 Federal Briefing and Multi-State Dinner in Washington during AHA's Annual Meeting

May 2, 2016
Washington, DC

Registration for this event is open to HANYS Members only.

The American Hospital Association (AHA) will hold its Annual Membership Meeting in Washington, D.C., May 1 through May 4. In conjunction with the AHA meeting, HANYS will host a federal briefing along with our colleagues at the California Hospital Association (CHA), Illinois Hospital Association (IHA) and Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania (HAP) onsite at the Washington Hilton on May 2 from 4 to 5 p.m. The briefing will feature a bipartisan, bicameral panel of key Hill staff. HANYS’ members will have an opportunity to dialogue with the panelists about congressional priorities on healthcare this year.

Following the briefing, HANYS will host a multi-state dinner at the Newseum at 6:30 p.m. We are pleased to host this event in partnership with several of our key advocacy partners in Washington, including CHA, HAP, and IHA. Free Newseum tickets will be provided to HANYS' members to use during their stay in Washington.

Please note that the Senate and House of Representatives will be out of session throughout the duration of the AHA Annual Meeting. We would be happy to help arrange for you to meet with health staff from your respective NY Delegation offices, upon request.
