2016 HANYS' Workshop for Assistants to the President/ CEO and Board Coordinators

Full Agenda

Join us for an energizing and comprehensive professional development program for assistants to the President/CEO and board coordinators.

The agenda includes relevant health policy topics and some skill-building sessions for professional assistants working within the executive office.

Hosted by HANYS and Healthcare Trustees of New York State, the 1½-day workshop opens Tuesday, July 12, with an ice-breaker session, followed by dinner.

Day two opens with a welcome and broad policy overview from HANYS Incoming President, Beatrice Grause. The day also includes sessions on patient engagement and safety, and a broad overview of the Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) program that is large part of New York State’s healthcare reform initiative. You will also hear from a national technology expert who will share dozens of free technology tools to help you work more efficiently.

Registration

Registration fee of $85 includes alll workshop activities including in-town transportation, dinner in Albany on day one, and breakfast and lunch on day two of the program.

The workshop registration deadline is Thursday, July 7, 2016.

Continuing Education Credits

There are no continuing education credits associated with this workshop.

Cancellation

The registration deadline for this program is July 7. Substitutions are permitted and encouraged, including the day of the event. Cancellations should be made in writing to learning@hanys.org. Cancellations received July 7 through July 11 are subject to a $50 administrative charge. Registration fees for cancellations received after 5 p.m. on July 11 or for failing to attend will be forfeited
