RPC Webinar with CLMHD, Hosted by HANYS and IHA

HANYS and Iroquois Healthcare Alliance (IHA) will host this Webconference with the New York State Conference of Local Mental Hygiene Directors (CLMHD) on the rest-of-state Regional Planning Consortiums (RPCs).

As part of the behavioral health transition to Medicaid managed care, CLMHD, working with the Department of Health, Office of Mental Health, and Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services, created the RPCs to bring together behavioral health, physical health, managed care organizations (MCOs) and other key stakeholders. The goal of the RPCs is to share information, collaborate, and problem-solve issues inherent to the transition to Medicaid managed care. As part of their contract with the state, all MCOs are required to participate in all the RPCs for their coverage area.

Kelly Hansen, Executive Director, CLMHD and James Button, RPC Project Director, CLMHD, will present on the RPCs’ role and function with the Medicaid managed care transition and other state initiatives.
