The State Department of Health's (DOH) Office of Primary Care and Health Systems Management Deputy Commissioner Dan Sheppard has reached out to HANYS to assist in scheduling and participating in a state tour to provide opportunities for face- to-face "listening" sessions with hospital and health-system providers.

The sessions will focus on hearing from providers regarding, but not limited to, concerns and obstacles faced in transitioning the healthcare system, suggestions for future consideration, and promoting open discussions between DOH and providers.
