Back to Basics with the Surviving Sepsis Campaign

October 27, 2016
Webconference

This event is open to HANYS Members Only.

1 - 2 p.m.

HANYS is committed to working with members to improve hospital sepsis care and associated patient outcomes. In 2013, HANYS launched the Statewide Sepsis Learning Network to further raise awareness of the growing incidence of sepsis, the devastating impact on patients’ lives, and the availability of evidence-based best practices to improve patient care.

This webinar will provide an overview of the basics of hospital sepsis care from nationally-recognized experts. It is appropriate for new hospital staff, as well as those in need of a review of key clinical issues, including early recognition and treatment, and the three- and six-hour care bundles. The webinar will include a question-and-answer session.

Note: This program will not address the state and federal reporting requirements.
