2017 Advocacy Day

This event is for HANYS' members only.

With the 2017 state legislative session less than one month away, it is clear that healthcare will face significant challenges. Budget issues and associated competition for resources, coupled with renewed fights on important issues such as staffing ratios and medical malpractice, will require our collective and persistent advocacy.

We will need to have a strong presence on Advocacy Day on March 1 and your participation is vital for that effort.

You are encouraged to contact your legislators directly to schedule one-on-one meetings. Contact your allied association if you need assistance. Some of the allied associations will be scheduling targeted group meetings with selected legislators and we encourage your participation in those meetings.

A dozen executives, key staff, and trustees from your organization.
