HANYS’ Leadership Advocacy Day
March 3, 2010
Albany, NY
HANYS and the allied regional associations, in conjunction with the Healthcare Trustees of New York State (HTNYS), will host Leadership Advocacy Day to enable executive and trustee leadership teams to meet with their local legislators and express their concerns about the proposed 2010-2011 state budget. Members will also have the opportunity to hear from New York State’s legislative leaders and health committee chairs regarding the proposed budget during a luncheon address.
This event is a critical component of our state budget advocacy. Engaging your legislators is key, and the importance of our message is in part demonstrated by your willingness to come meet with them in Albany.
