HANYS’ Annual Conference for Human Resource Leaders

HANYS Benefit Services is pleased to announce that HANYS’ Annual Conference for Human Resource Professionals will be held April 28-30 at the historic Otesaga Hotel in Cooperstown.

With sweeping health care reform proposals on the horizon and an economic climate that remains fragile, health care providers are focused on running their organizations as efficiently as possible. Human resource departments will play a critical role as hospitals seek to maximize resources, maintain a high level of service, and implement forward-thinking initiatives that ensure a positive culture.

This year’s conference will provide insight and discussion on topics vital to the day-to-day activity of human resource professionals, including:

  • healthcare reform;
  • workforce management;
  • new 403(b) retirement plan audit requirements; and
  • social media and human resources.

All conference participants are invited to attend the meeting of HANYS Statewide Human Resource Advisory Council where John M. Bagyi, Esq., Deputy Managing Attorney of Bond, Schoeneck & King, PLLC on will present, Facilitating the Effective Use of Social Media While Limiting Legal Liability.

Continuing Education Credits

This program has been submitted to the Human Resource Certification Institute for continuing education credit.

Registration Deadline is 4/23/2010. Cancellations less a 25% cancellation fee will be accepted until 4/27/2010. Cancellations the day of the conference are not eligible for a refund. Substitutions are always encouraged even at the last minute.
