GME Advocacy Day
March 16, 2010
Albany, NY
11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
This special GME Advocacy Day is being coordinated and sponsored by HANYS and the allied associations.
Governor Paterson’s budget for 2010-2011 puts funding for Graduate Medical Education (GME) at risk. Join us in meeting with state lawmakers to communicate the importance of protecting GME funding and the harmful implications of the Governor’s budget for academic medical centers and teaching hospitals.
This day will also highlight the invaluable contributions of academic medical centers and teaching hospitals to physician training, patients, communities, medical research, and the economic activity generated by these institutions.
