This one-day briefing is designed to familiarize our members with HANYS, including a synopsis of the Association’s activities and services carried out on behalf of the membership. Opportunities for questions and discussion will be included throughout the day.

After the program, you have two additional learning/discussion opportunities:

• A Tour of HANYS: Tours of HANYS will be conducted between 2 and 4 p.m. that day. Reservations are not necessary.
• Personal appointments with HANYS' staff: To discuss specific issues with expert staff that afternoon, indicate this when you register, or contact Molly Poleto, Director of Membership Engagement, at (518) 431-7901 or at mpoleto@hanys.org.

Who should attend

• Open to all HANYS members. Will be particularly valuable for chief executive officers, and executive and leadership staff and trustees.

Program highlights

• HANYS’ President, Daniel Sisto, will lead an “Environmental Summit” on key issues facing our membership. Mr. Sisto will be joined by HANYS’ Executive Vice President Dennis Whalen; Steven Kroll, Vice President, Governmental Affairs and External Relations; and Sue Ellen Wagner, HTNYS’ Executive Director.
• Face-to-face opportunities to dialogue with HANYS’ leadership staff on topics and issues important to you.
• A tour of HANYS’ offices following the Program.

Lodging

A block of hotel rooms has been set aside for this program at a HANYS' nightly rate of $129 (excluding taxes and fees). Reservations may be made at the Marriott Residence Inn by calling (518) 720-3600 or by going to the hotel Web site. The Marriott Residence Inn is conveniently located less than half a mile from the HANYS Headquarters. Directions to the hotel are available online. Parking at HANYS is free of charge.
