North Country Gold STAMP Pressure Ulcer Improvement

Gold STAMP is an evidenced-based, systems-focused quality improvement initiative for skin care that encourages cross-setting collaboratives of all provider settings across the continuum of care. It is a model of care that incorporates the same philosophies of care coordination and collaboration being promoted currently by federal and state health reform, in new models of care delivery, and by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

An alternate weather date has been set for February 1.

  • Nursing Facility Administrators

What you will learn

The objectives of the free, day-long, Gold STAMP conference for all hospital, nursing home, home health care, and hospice participants are to:

  • discuss the benefits of a cross-setting pressure ulcer collaborative as it relates to quality care;
  • assess their own system for pressure ulcer prevention and management processes;
  • compare their current resources for skin care management with the Gold STAMP Resource Guide;
  • analyze benefits and barriers to establishing a cross-setting quality improvement collaborative; and
  • begin to implement strategies to improve systems in their organization and across health care settings.


Continuing education credits

There are no continuing education credits being offered with this program.
