Maximizing Employee Motivation - 2012 Journey to Leadership Success Series

February 16, 2012

10 - 11:30 a.m.

This program is for HANYS' members only.

This year, HANYS will continue The Journey to Leadership Success Series of bi-monthly workforce educational programs. Similar to last year, the programs will focus on the leader’s role in employee development. The first program of the year is scheduled for Thursday, February 16 on Maximizing Employee Motivation.

Maximizing Employee Motivation will help supervisors and managers better understand what drives high performance and why some employees are more motivated than others in the same environment. Participants will learn five practical strategies that promote higher performance and increase employee retention. They will see how individual differences in employees work styles can maximize or undermine any motivational strategy.

This session will demystify motivation and point to powerful, everyday actions supervisors can take to more highly motivate their staff. The strategies discussed are low or no cost and readily available to supervisors, even in the current tight economic climate.
