This event is for HANYS members only.

HANYS will be hosting five regional sessions across the state withCain & Associates, focusing on “Managing the Medicare Audit Environment with Recovery Audit Contractors (RACs) and Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs).” Both financial and clinical staff will benefit from these sessions, which will cover:

  • How to quantify and monitor risk;
  • How to manage risk of Medicare audits;
  • Common documentation errors that cost you money; and
  • Steps to take to protect your bottom line.

Attendees will also have an opportunity to hear about HANYS current advocacy efforts at the federal and state level regarding these audits. With an increase of Medicare audit activity over the past year we strongly encourage representatives from your facility to attend one of these sessions.

HANYS has invited Cain and Associates, LLC, a HANYS Solutions partner, to share tools and strategies that hospitals can use to address both the Medicare RAC and MAC audits.

Cain and Associates, LLC creates and develops products and services that improve the business of Healthcare. With over 30 years of practical healthcare management and regulatory experience, Wm. Scott Cain and his team bring innovation to the areas of revenue enhancement, information management, regulatory compliance, capital acquisition and corporate restructuring.
