Encouraging Staff to Become Solution-Focused - Journey to Leadership Success Series

August 15, 2013

10:00 - 11:30 a.m.

This program is for HANYS' members only.

Stop Complaining and Start Solving! Encouraging Staff to Become Solution-Focused

Are your staff more interested in focusing on problems instead of solutions? Encouraging employees to be solution-focused means helping them focus on what is going right, applying past success to the present, and challenging them about what they can do today to create change. This session, presented by Susan Fee, M.Ed., a clinical counselor and national speaker on topics related to mental health, professional communication, and conflict resolution, will provide leaders with tools to help staff acknowledge and break negative patterns, ask empowering questions, and replace excuses with positive action.
