Joint HANYS HIT/Quality Symposium

This meeting is for HANYS' members only.

This special joint session of the HANYS Health Information Technology (HIT) Strategy Group and the HANYS Statewide Steering Committee on Quality Initiatives will focus on the important and evolving topic of electronic clinical quality measures (e-CQMs)—the measures that will ultimately be used to tie payment to quality outcomes.

Speakers will include national leaders on this subject, including the Chief Medical Officer of the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC), Jacob Reider, M.D. The full meeting agenda is available online.

Although geared primarily toward hospital quality and information technology professionals, all staff involved with this important topic are invited to attend.

HANYS appreciates the collaboration of The Mount Sinai Medical Center on this program and the leadership of HANYS HIT Strategy Group Chair, David Mendelson, M.D., F.A.C.R., Chief of Clinical Informatics, The Mount Sinai Medical Center;and Chair of HANYS’ Statewide Steering Committee on Quality Initiatves, Eliot Lazar, M.D., M.B.A., Senior Vice President, Chief Quality and Patient Safety Officer, NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare System.

This event was originally scheduled for February 8, but was postponed due to bad weather.
