Transitioning to a Managed Care Environment - The Move to FIDA

HANYS’ continuing care and managed care staff will provide members with an update on the state’s activity transitioning dual-eligible patients into the Fully Integrated Duals Advantage (FIDA) demonstration and its Care Management for All initiative, which will shift individuals remaining in Medicaid fee-for-service into Long Term Managed Care plans. Members will also receive strategic guidance on positioning themselves for the evolving market and receive an introduction to several managed care concepts that will be newly relevant for this population as they transition into managed care.
