HANYS HIT Strategy Group - Stage 2 Meaningful Use, Transition of Care Objective With CMS

HANYS’ members throughout the state have raised questions and concerns as they contemplate how to meet the requirements for the Transition of Care (TOC) objective for Stage 2 of the Medicare and Medicaid Electronic Health Record (EHR) (“meaningful use”) Incentive Programs. The session will feature a presentation by Vidya Sellappan of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ (CMS) Office of eHealth Standards and Services HIT Initiatives Group.

HANYS’ members throughout the state have raised questions and concerns as they contemplate how to meet the TOC objective requirements. HANYS has asked Ms. Sellappan to provide an overview of the TOC objective and offer insight into how to successfully comply.
