Regional Policy Forum - Ellicottville

Please join HANYS and Western New York Healthcare Association to discuss the important issues affecting your organization and to share your questions and concerns with us as we gear up for 2015 advocacy.

HANYS' leadership team will be in Western New York to hear from you and your colleagues about the issues that are important to you, and discuss our advocacy strategies for the coming year.

The program will be presented from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Holiday Valley Resort & Conference Center in Ellicottville (register on this page) and in the afternoon from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn in Cheektowaga (register here).

Refreshments will be served.

What You Will Learn

HANYS' regional policy forums are an opportunity for you to discuss important policy developments, the healthcare transformation taking place in your communities, and the challenges you face in the rapidly changing healthcare environment.

We will also discuss major issues that will frame the advocacy landscape in 2015, including:

• how the elections in November may change the political landscape in Albany
• the evolution of the Medicare, Medicaid, health insurance exchange, and commercial insurance marketplaces and providers' continued move toward value-based payment structures
• the Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) program
• the need for regulatory relief, prevention of new mandates, and support for healthcare infrastructure that communities continue to need
