This workshop is for CSR members only.

The annual education workshop for Continuous Service Readiness (CSR) program participants will be held November 6 and 7 at HANYS’ offices in Rensselaer.

Up to three staff from each member organization may attend. Please register each individually online.

Joint Commission Resources faculty for the workshop include:

• Doreen Finn, R.N., B.S.N., M.B.A., Senior Associate Director, Standards Interpretation Group, Division of Healthcare Improvement;
• George Mills, M.B.A., F.A.S.H.E., C.E.M., C.H.F.M., C.H.S.P., Director, Department of Engineering;
• Barbara Soule, Practice Leader Infection Control Services; and
• Michelle McDonald, Executive Director, Government Regulations and Advisory Services.

Mary Therriault, Senior Director, Quality and Research Initiatives, HANYS, will also be a presenter.

Continuing Education Credits

This program has bas been submitted to National Association for Healthcare Quality for CPHQ CE credits.

Registration/Cancellations

The first three registrations from each CSR-participating hospital are free. Each additional registration is $295 per person. Please call Pam Sullivan at (518) 431-7846 to arrange for registration and credit card payment for more than three registrants.

The registration deadline is November 3. Cancellations less a 25% cancellation fee will be accepted until November 5. Cancellations after that time are not eligible for a refund. Substitutions are always encouraged even at the last minute.

Hotel Accomodations

A block of rooms have been reserved for participants at the Residence Inn by Marriott Tech Valley at a nightly rate of $134 plus tax. Reservations may be made by calling (518) 720-3600 or online. Please refer to group code "CSRCSRA" when making reservations. The deadline for obtaining the special event rate is October 20.
