Comprehensive Care for Joint Replacement Webinar

This event will review Medicare’s newly adopted mandatory Comprehensive Care for Joint Replacement (CJR) payment model. CJR will test bundled payments for lower extremity joint replacements, holding hospitals in certain geographic areas financially responsible for 90-day episodes of care for these services. Under the final rule, in New York State, hospitals in the Buffalo area, New York City, its northern metropolitan area, and Long Island will be subject to the program.
This webinar will: highlight the major content areas of the final rule and review DataGen’s developing hospital-specific CJR analysis that will be provided to all HANYS members in late December. DataGen issued a brief paper outlining the top ten things providers should know about CJR, and HANYS will develop a comprehensive summary document for members on the CJR final rule.
