The Joint Commission Project to Reduce Sepsis Mortality

Recently, proposed New York State regulations have brought attention to several challenging issues surrounding the rapid testing for and treatment of sepsis. Accreditation standards and other resources available to Joint Commission-accredited organizations can assist hospitals in meeting this challenge. In this Webinar, three experts from The Joint Commission will share insight on improving the quality and safety of sepsis care. Topics will include reporting and receiving critical test results; managing sepsis in the emergency department; and a timely update on the Joint Commission Center for Transforming Healthcare’s Improving Sepsis Care project.
