NGS Webconference on Probe and Educate Reviews of the Two-Midnight Rule

Catherine K. Delli Carpini, R.N., B.S.N., C.P.C., Manager, JK Provider Outreach & Education, National Government Services (NGS), will educate members on the “two-midnight” rule and cover many areas on which providers are seeking clarification. Topics to be covered include:
- observation status versus Inpatient admissions;
- SNF stays;
- appropriate and Inappropriate admissions;
- exceptions to the two-midnight rule;
- admission orders and physician certification;
- supporting documentation; and
- preliminary probe and educate result.
