HANYS' MLTC-FIDA Update with DOH

October 6, 2014

For HANYS' Members Only. If you have already registered for the previously cancelled session on September 22, you do not need to re-register.

3:30 - 5 p.m.

This webinar will feature Mark Kissinger, Director, Division of Long-Term Care, Office of Health Insurance Programs, DOH, who oversees the state’s implementation plan to transition New York’s Medicaid long-term care population from fee-for-service to managed care.

The MLTC transition is continuing to expand across the state and MLTC plans are seeking to contract with providers to supply long-term care services and, in some cases, care management to Medicaid recipients.

Mark Kissinger will present on the transition of community-based, dual-eligible individuals into MLTC and on transitioning the nursing home Medicaid benefit and population into managed care. He will also provide an update on the Fully Integrated Duals Advantage (FIDA) demonstration.
