HANYS Posts Videos With Latest H1N1 Information

HANYS has produced three videos that provide actionable, up-to-date information about the characteristics, prevention, and treatment of the H1N1 influenza virus.

These five-minute videos, available on HANYS’ YouTube channel, feature Christopher Smith, Manager, Emergency and Trauma Initiatives, and Mary Therriault, R.N., M.S., Senior Director, Quality and Research Initiatives.

Specific topics covered in the videos include epidemiology, vaccine supply, the importance of hand washing and cleaning surfaces, efficacy of face masks, treatment and care of loved ones, knowing when to visit the emergency room, and what to expect when you arrive.
