Trustees Board Approves "Medicaid for Medicaid" Resolution

Bookmark and Share

Yesterday, the Board of Governor’s of Healthcare Trustees of New York State (HTNYS) approved a resolution that urges Governor Paterson and members of the State Legislature to ensure that all federal Medicaid dollars received by New York State through a federal stimulus package be used for Medicaid health care services to help offset the overwhelming proposed state health care cuts and taxes. HTNYS is urging all hospital and health system boards across the state to approve the resolution to show how critical it is that any federal assistance go toward Medicaid services and offsetting proposed Medicaid health care cuts.
