Provider-Educator Collaboration
As part of its workforce agenda, HANYS is helping members find ways to collaborate with educators to help address the health care workforce shortage.
As part of the March 23, 2005 HANYS and State University of New York (SUNY) Office of the Provost Collaborating with Educators videoconference, regional dialogues were held with participants to determine workforce practices that are working well around the state. The dialogues also looked at new opportunities for collaboration between educators and health care providers, resource issues, and possible solutions to any barriers that educators and providers have encountered in conquering the workforce shortages.
