Your Participation at Advocacy Day is Vitally Important
The governor proposed a drastic $550 million cut to state healthcare funding, which, with the loss of federal matching funds, will mean a $1 billion reduction in total healthcare funding. This deep healthcare cut comes as New York’s hospitals are facing very real threats on the federal level.
These cuts would cause lasting and significant consequences to New York’s healthcare delivery system.
We need you in Albany March 5.
Please plan to join your hospital and nursing home colleagues in Albany for Healthcare Advocacy Day on Tuesday, March 5.
We must deliver our message loud and clear: Healthcare cuts are unacceptable and will harm patient care.
The hospital and health system community must show the governor and legislature that we won’t stand for these cuts. Our collective voices will ensure New York’s legislators know that decimating critical healthcare funding to address a state revenue shortfall is the wrong approach for all New Yorkers.
Executives, trustees, and all team members, including clinical, administrative, and other staff, are welcome to participate at Advocacy Day events. Registration is now open.
