COVID-19 has changed life as we know it in New York state for well over a month now. This pandemic has posed significant challenges, but our New York state healthcare workers remain my constant inspiration.
I know I speak on behalf of all the staff at HANYS, our members and our fellow New Yorkers when I express my tremendous appreciation to our healthcare workers – our doctors, nurses and other direct care providers, and all who are providing essential services, from food service to laundry, administration and otherwise. Your sacrifices during the COVID-19 pandemic have saved countless lives and provided heroic and much-needed care to those in need. We applaud you and are honored to support your work.
