Antimicrobial Stewardship: Strategies to Address Data Challenges in Outpatient Settings

September 10, 2019
Webinar

4 - 4:30 p.m.

Registration is open to HANYS Members and Non Members

Through our Antibiotic Stewardship Collaborative, HANYS’ members have access to regular educational sessions, consultation with state and national experts, networking opportunities and hospital-specific antibiotic utilization reports with statewide comparisons. Members are encouraged to participate in the Collaborative’s programming. Utilization reports are made available to hospitals that submit data to HANYS or to the National Health and Safety Network.

During this presentation Duke Center for Antimicrobial Stewardship and Infection Prevention will share strategies to address common data challenges in outpatient antimicrobial stewardship programs. In addition to offering best practices, this program will help members prepare for requirements under the CMS Quality Payment Program and The Joint Commission’s prepublication standards.

Featured Speaker:
Rebekah H. Wrenn, PharmD, BCPS, infectious diseases clinical pharmacist, Duke University Hospital; adjunct assistant professor, UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy, Duke Center for Antimicrobial Stewardship and Infection Prevention
