NewYork-Presbyterian will discuss its use of artificial intelligence, machine learning and robotic process automation to advance financial and administrative functions. Peter Fleischut, MD, senior vice president and chief transformation officer, will discuss NYP’s work automating processes and building expertise in AI and automation.
NewYork-Presbyterian is focusing on AI-enabled automation of administrative and financial processes. While much of the press covers future plans for clinical breakthroughs and operational changes through AI-enabled technologies, NYP is moving now on the fertile ground of improving operations. NYP is focused on automating process workflows and a set of decisions within the process that can be improved with the use of machine learning algorithms. NYP has partnered with Workfusion, a robotic process automation vendor that has ML capabilities built into its platform.
