Government Relations Advocacy Strategy Session
Thursday, December 12, 2019
New York LaGuardia Airport Marriott
Noon - 6 p.m.
This event is open to HANYS members only.
Event Description
Government affairs representatives play a critical role in shaping the conversation and legislative outcomes on healthcare. With elections at the state and federal level in 2020, it is imperative that healthcare representatives educate elected officials on key issues facing New York’s hospitals and health systems. Collaboration is critical to developing a sound and reliable advocacy strategy that is reflective of collective member concerns.
HANYS’ Government Relations Advocacy Strategy Session provides a unique opportunity for HANYS member government affairs representatives to discuss top priorities, provide input on our 2020 state and federal advocacy agendas and network with colleagues from across the state.
The session consists of a day of in-person strategy and networking opportunities to promote constructive dialogue and collaboration among HANYS’ statewide membership. The agenda includes a networking reception and an invitation to attend the Dec. 13 HANYS board of trustees meeting.
