HANYS Lunch and Learn - Fentanyl and Other High Potency Synthetic Opioids: Risks and Responses

Registration is open to HANYS members and non-members.

This session will address high potency synthetic opioids such as fentanyl and analogues which are increasingly driving drug overdose deaths. The chief of medical services at OASAS and associate medical director of harm reduction at the DOH AIDS Institute will present on the pharmacology, overdose pathophysiology, clinical responses and harm reduction strategies related to fentanyl and other synthetic opioids.
