Medicare’s proposed outpatient and final inpatient payment rules for 2021

This webinar will review key components of the Medicare proposed outpatient and final inpatient payment rules for 2021, including:

• rate updates;
• area wage index changes;
• market-based rates;
• chimeric antigen receptor therapy (CAR-T);
• continuation of the site-neutral payment rate for excepted off-campus, provider-based department sites for basic clinic visits;
• continuation of the 340B Drug Pricing Program payment reductions at a reduced rate of average sales price minus 28.7%;
• elimination of the inpatient-only list over the next three years;
• prior authorization changes; and
• changes to the Overall Hospital Quality Star Ratings program.

Providers will have an opportunity during the webinar to ask questions and provide feedback for our OPPS comment letter to CMS.
