Selecting and implementing PROs and PROMs in a clinical setting

Oct. 14
Webinar

Noon - 1 p.m.

Registration is open to HANYS members and non mebers.

Clinicians and payers are increasingly prioritizing the importance of elevating the patient voice in quality measurement; patient-reported outcomes are a powerful and effective way to accomplish this. The next session in HANYS' Emerging Quality Trends Series will provide guidance to decisionmakers in clinical settings on how to choose PROs that are meaningful to your patients and clinicians, and how to select and implement patient-reported outcome measures in ways that allow for consistent data collection without placing undue burden on patients or staff.

Participants of this webinar will learn:

  • the relationship between PROs, PROMs and patient-reported outcome performance measures;
  • four best practices on selecting PROs and five best practices on selecting PROMs for your clinical setting;
  • lessons on implementing and using PROMs as part of your day-to-day workflow.

Speaker:

Chuck Amos, MBA, Director, Quality Innovation, National Quality Forum
