HANYS is pleased to continue our Complex Case Discharge Delay Learning Series. During these webinars, experts will discuss strategies to navigate discharge obstacles and help facilitate timely discharge.

This series highlights solutions to help hospitals address the myriad issues associated with complex case discharge delays. It features themes highlighted in our white paper, including guardianship issues, best practices for emergency departments caring for individuals with intellectual disabilities, and immigration and legal status.

During this session, three attorneys in health and human services will discuss considerations for sharing personal health information when facilitating discharge.
