As regulatory organizations embrace new health equity standards, hospitals and health systems must take action to collect better data, collaborate with community partners, strengthen internal DEI efforts and provide equitable care.
In a series of quick presentations across two sessions, health systems participating in HANYS’ AHEI learning collaborative will share their innovative approaches to advancing health equity. These systems will discuss their successes, lessons learned and outline the future direction of their work.
Day one is all about Community Partnerships; how AHEI health systems have built or strengthened relationships with community partners to address shared health equity priorities.
Day two dives into Data Improvement and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). These topics cover how AHEI health systems found and addressed gaps in their demographic data collection or strengthened their DEI work.
Registration includes both the Dec. 5 and Dec. 7 sessions.
