The Opioid Summit is designed for healthcare professionals delivering opioid use disorder prevention, intervention, treatment and recovery services across the continuum of care.

This education and networking event will explore innovative opioid use disorder programs and evidence-based strategies, offering resources, tools and best practices. Sessions will include didactic content to influence the adoption and use of medication-assisted treatment and other topics related to early identification, harm reduction and treatment of infectious diseases for individuals with opioid use disorder. The sessions are designed to facilitate conversation among participants regarding issues such as health equity and integration of buprenorphine practices.

The Opioid Summit on Sept. 24 will be followed by a free buprenorphine waiver training for clinical providers on Sept. 25. Physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and medical residents are strongly encouraged to attend.
