Northern Westchester Teaches Kids How to Stay Healthy

Northern Westchester Hospital wants to do all it can to keep kids healthy. So they developed their Elementary School Health Education Initiative to teach healthcare education classes at local elementary schools.

These interactive classes teach kids how to eat a nutritious diet, wash their hands thoroughly, perform first aid, and call 911 in an emergency. To date, thousands of kids have benefitted from this initiative; 79% say they feel more confident in their ability to call 911 if needed, and 80% are strongly committed to washing their hands better to stay healthy.
