This in-depth Federal SWAT program will focus on the growing challenges providers face when conducting business with self-insured and Medicare Advantage plans not subject to provider protections under state law. Sessions will be led by expert faculty from King and Spalding, a renowned national law firm with deep expertise in this space, including a substantial litigation footprint and regular representation of providers in managed care matters.

Attendees will develop skills and tactics to strengthen their hospitals’ approach for challenging unsatisfactory plan behavior, and participate in workshop sessions on identifying holes and traps in sample contracts, writing appeals, and overcoming common practices by plans not being actively overseen by CMS and regulators.
